K'taka govt withholds post for murder suspect
A thoroughly embarrassed state government on Friday withheld the appointment of Jama Azad Umar Sab Annigeri as vice-president of the Uttara Kannada District Wakf Board, a government body, following a backlash from party workers and Hindu activists.
