Delhi: Blazing summer, firemen on toes
This year, perhaps due to the unusually high day temperatures and dry weather conditions, calls to Delhi Fire Service have gone up compared with alerts last year in the same period. This month till April 13, the fire department has received 1,743 calls, mostly about garbage and house fires and electrical short circuits.
