200 theme-based poll booths to dot Hyd, aim to create voter awareness
Theme-based polling stations will be set up for the first time in the upcoming assembly elections in Hyderabad. These polling stations aim to increase voter turnout among specific groups such as youths, women, and persons with disabilities. Each constituency will have five polling stations for each theme, totaling 225 booths. Young voters will manage the youth-themed booths, while PWD persons will handle the PWD stations and women will manage the women-themed booths. Artworks based on local culture will be displayed at these polling stations to create awareness among voters.
