Woman can't allege rape after 6 years of consensual sex: HC
The Karnataka High Court has dismissed two criminal cases filed against a man by a woman alleging breach of promise of marriage after being in a relationship for six years. The court quashed the proceedings in relation to FIRs registered against the petitioner, noting that the sexual relationship lasted for six years and that it would not constitute ingredients of rape.
