Be wary of strangers who befriend you on social media; and never pour out your woes to such a stranger. A 53-year-old homemaker from Oshiwara has learnt this the hard way after losing Rs17.92 lakh to a man "from the UK" - actually a fraudster - who had befriended her on social media.
