Single-use plastic: Outlet fined Rs 20k in Hyd
HMC on Wednesday slapped a 20,000 fine against Pulla Reddy Sweets, Somajiguda, for using single-use plastic for packaging. Around 11am, senior IFS officer Mohan Pargaien tweeted: "It's more than 6 months since the use of single-use plastic was banned but its compliance needs proactive action and strict implementation of law? This is despite my repeated request to @pullareddysweet Begumpet to discontinue it."
