Severe heatwave likely in Delhi for next 10 days
Delhiites will need to brace for hotter days from Wednesday, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issuing a ‘yellow’ alert and predicting heatwave and severe heatwave conditions for the next 10 days. It has also issued an advisory asking people to avoid heat exposure, especially between 12 noon and 3pm, and drink sufficient water.
