Rs 5,000 fine if you use banned plastic, says BMC
BMC on Wednesday warned citizens of strict action for use of banned plastic, including single-use disposable plastic. BMC said production, transportation, sale, storage, handling and use of prohibited plastic, as prescribed by the state government, is prohibited. BMC is appealing that no one use banned plastic, otherwise legal action will be taken, officials said.
