PWD starts clearing footpath encroachment in Delhi
The Public Works Department launched a drive on Saturday to remove encroachments from footpaths across the city. This follows the order of Delhi High Court which earlier in the week pulled up the civic authorities for being unable to remove the illegal ramps and steps constructed on footpaths by residents of houses along public roads.
