Now on, civic body to call itself just BMC, not MCGM
Ahead of the Maharashtra Day on May 1, the BMC issued a circular directing that henceforth it must be addressed by the name Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and not Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).
