Noida cop dials toll-free number, loses Rs 2L
A head constable with the Noida police was allegedly cheated of Rs 2 lakh after he called on the “toll-free number” of a bank, obtained through a Google search, to report the loss of his debit card. An FIR has been lodged under the IT Act, police said on Saturday.
