NHRC notice over vanishing waterbodies in Delhi
The National Human Rights Commission on Thursday took suo motu cognisance of reports of disappearing waterbodies in Delhi due to alleged unplanned growth and negligence by the authorities and served notices to the chief secretary of Delhi and vice-chairman, Delhi Development Authority, asking them to submit detailed reports in six weeks.
