Nearly 11k critical polling booths identified in Telangana
Telangana's most critical polling stations are concentrated in Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Warangal, and Medak districts, with a total of 10,969 identified across the state. Factors such as voting percentage, past incidents, and the law and order situation determine the classification. The Election Commission of India has ordered the deployment of Central Armed Paramilitary Forces in these stations. Webcasting or videography will be conducted in all critical stations, and micro observers may be deployed. The presiding officers will collect identification documents from voters.
