NDMC plans to bulldoze ‘encroachments’ in Jahangirpuri
Taking a cue from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, where the administration used bulldozers to raze the properties of people accused of rioting during the Ram Navami processions, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation has decided to act against the "encroachments" in Jahangirpuri where riots broke out last Saturday during a procession commemorating Hanuman Janmotsav.
