Navi Mumbai: 6 booked for mortgaging fake jewellery for Rs 35L loan
Kamothe police have registered a case of cheating and criminal breach of trust against five loanees of Sahayadri Cooperative bank's Kamothe branch, along with a Taloja jeweller, for conniving with the loanees and enabling them to mortgage fake gold ornaments, by showing them as authentic, at the said bank and availing gold loan worth Rs 34.5 lakh.
