Mysuru: Activists buy halal meat to counter jhatka drive
Amid a drive by rightwing activists urging the Hindu community not to buy halal meat, writers and activists led by noted Kannada litterateur Devanura Mahadeva on Sunday bought meat from shops in Mysuru owned by Muslims to counter the campaign.
