Mayor polls: SC to hear plea of AAP's Oberoi on Feb 3
Expressing apprehension that the lieutenant governor is “deliberately” delaying mayoral election in Delhi in order to “set up a stage” to make the aldermen or nominated members illegally cast their votes, AAP and its mayor candidate Shelly Oberoi sought Supreme Court’s direction to hold the poll within 10 days and the court on Friday agreed to hear the plea on February 3.
