Made-in-T'gana command post tanks to roll out today
The Medak Ordnance Factory in Hyderabad has introduced a new tank called the Carrier Command Post Tracked (CCPT) vehicle. It is designed to perform tactical and technical fire control functions, allowing for the efficient deployment of self-propelled artillery guns. The CCPT features a tracked chassis that houses the Artillery Combat Command and Control System (ACCCS), making it the first of its kind. The factory, a part of Armoured Vehicles Nigam (AVNL), is set to unveil the CCPT vehicles on October 30, 2023. AVNL specializes in manufacturing armored fighting vehicles for the Indian armed forces.
