Lingam and silver stolen from temple in Karnataka
An ancient crystal lingam of Lord Shiva (spatika lingam) was stolen from the sanctum sanctorum of Renukacharya Temple in Lingadahalli village of Ranebennur taluk in the wee hours of Tuesday.The precious crystal lingam, belonging to eighth century, is 13 inches in diameter.
