Legendary Marathi newscaster Pradeep Bhide passes away
Pradeep Bhide had pioneered the art of reading bulletins and hosting shows on Mumbai Doordarshan where he served for 35 years, well before its name was changed to Sahyadri. Bhide had been suffering from cancer of the brain.
