K'taka govt owes hosps Rs 316cr for 2L+ procedures in 3 yrs
Government hospitals in Karnataka which have conducted over two lakh procedures under the Ayushman Bharat Arogya Karnataka (AB-ArK) scheme since 2019 are still awaiting clearance of bills totalling a whopping Rs 316 crore, including the reimbursement of treatment cost and incentives for doctors and operating staff.
