K'taka clerk who loved crime fiction planned filmi-style heist
A bank clerk suspected to be the mastermind behind the heist at District Credit Cooperative (DCC) Bank had got duplicate keys made for all the lockers. He erased CCTV footage of the theft, dug a grave-like pit in a sugarcane field and hid Rs 4 crore and 3kg of gold that he and his accomplices had stolen.
