K'taka: 935 cops faced action for poor prosecution since 2019
Not all cases filed by the police department end up in convictions. Recently, the Karnataka high court observed that it's the quality - and not the quantity - of evidence that matters under the Indian Evidence Act and acquitted a man charged with attacking a policeman in plainclothes.
