Karnataka: No ComedK, only CET from next year
In a move signifying a major change in admissions to private and unaided engineering colleges in Karnataka, ComedK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) will be scrapped from next year and the rankings of a refurbished Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will be considered for allotting seats in these institutions.
