Karnataka has already used 43 lakh person-days in new fiscal
In a decision the spells cheer for hordes of migrant workers returning to cities from their villages now that the pandemic threat is abating, Karnataka has been accorded 13 crore person-days (eight hours of labour) for the 2022-23 fiscal under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).
