Indians in Kyiv lose sleep over exit plan
Raj, who lives with friends in a flat in Kyiv, received a message from the university dean on Thursday informing them that accommodation will be provided to them in the hostel, which also has a bomb shelter. “We shifted to the hostel on Thursday evening,” said Raj. “Soon after around 12.45am Ukraine time, reports came in that Kyiv was under Russian attack and we were asked to hurry to the bunker. We have run out of cash and most banks and ATMs are closed.”
