In the pits: Delhi fails to harvest rainwater
For a city facing a shortfall of around 400 million gallons a day of drinking water, or 32% of the daily requirement, and with groundwater resources overexploited, Delhi needs a strong rainwater harvesting (RWH) culture. However, when TOI visited some places, the picture related to this simple and viable water conservation system was muddy, at best.
