How Covid cut Delhi cops’ verification workload
The pandemic affected various kinds of verification done by Delhi Police. Compared with 2020, there was a decrease in police clearance certificates (PCC) issued last year. Similarly, passport verification in 2021 saw an increasing trend after the restrictions were eased.
