Hijab may lead to sense of social separateness: K'taka HC
The Karnataka high court dismissed in its hijab verdict on Tuesday students' contention that they be allowed to wear headscarves conforming to the prescribed pattern and colour of their college dress code. It said allowing it would have undesirable consequences and establish a sense of 'social separateness' equivalent to sectarianism.
