Geo-tagged turtle travels 2,700km, but now out of contact
Prathama, the Olive Ridley sea turtle, the first to be strapped with a satellite tag has stopped transmitting signals. In a tweet put out on Thursday, the Mangrove Foundation said, “We have lost the signal of turtle ‘Prathama’ which was tagged at Velas, Ratnagiri on 25th January, 2022.
