Free power for SC, ST families increased
In the run-up to the assembly polls scheduled next year, the BJP government on Friday decided to increase the quantity of free power being supplied to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) families in the below the poverty line (BPL) category from the existing 40 units to 75 units per month.
