ED opposes bail plea of Unitech promoter's wife
Expressing apprehension that Preeti Chandra, the wife of jailed Unitech promoter Sanjay Chandra, may fly out of the country if granted bail, the Enforcement Directorate referred to various cases of white crime offenders managing to leave the country to duck prosecution and told the Supreme Court on Tuesday that "it is better to be safe than be sorry."
