Dying declaration doubtful, says Bombay HC, frees man in jail
Holding that when dying declaration is used for conviction, courts have a heavy duty cast on them to verify in each case “whether it is not only voluntary but also truthful,” the Bombay high court has acquitted a man and set him free after over 12 years of incarceration.
