Dupattas to cover heads: K'taka HC wants a clear answer
The Karnataka government told the high court it proposes to foster a secular mindset on campuses. Advocate General Prabhuling K Navadgi said this when the full bench hearing a batch of petitions challenging curbs on hijab in PU colleges asked him what would be the state government’s stand on the prayer of some petitioners that girls be allowed to wear dupattas of the school uniform on their head.
