'Delhi's economy grew 50% in 5 years despite turmoil'
Delhi’s gross state domestic product (GSDP) increased by 50% in the past five years to Rs 9.23 lakh crore, lieutenant governor Anil Baijal said in his budget speech in Delhi assembly on Wednesday. Reading out Delhi government’s list of achievements during 2021-22, he added that the city’s per capita income was Rs 4,01,982, about three times higher than the national average.
