Delhi top cop streamlines process for nod to rallies
In the aftermath of the recent violence reported in the city, Delhi Police commissioner Rakesh Asthana has issued directions for granting permission for processions, rallies, religious functions, dharnas and demonstrations and asked DCPs to exercise due diligence and take preventive action against ruffians.
