Delhi riots: 12 charged with murder of man
A Delhi court has framed charges of murder and rioting against 12 people for the lynching of a man during the 2020 Delhi riots, reports Usha Das. The prosecution told additional sessions judge Virender Bhat that the accused were members of an unlawful assembly on February 25 and 26, and their aim was to avenge the death of some members of their community. To this end, they allegedly bludgeoned one Aas Mohammad to death.
