Delhi parks to be named after unsung freedom fighters
To honour the contribution of unsung heroes from Delhi in India’s freedom struggle, various parks in the capital will be named after them. Following the lieutenant governor’s go-ahead, Delhi Development Authority sent the first list of 16 parks to Delhi government on Monday. The proposal will be discussed by the State Names Authority at its next meeting.
