Delhi: Monkey census awaits Rs 95L push to get started
The much-awaited census to determine the population of simians and the hotspots of monkey menace in Delhi is yet to begin, as the forest and wildlife department is awaiting funds from the Centre. The census, which will be conducted by Wildlife Institute of India (WII) for a year, will involve staff of the forest department and public as well. The Delhi government gave approval for the census in April this year.
