On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was 31.1 degrees Celsius, the highest maximum temperature for the year and two degrees above the season's average, compared with 30.8 degrees Celsius a day earlier. The minimum temperature was 14.2 degrees Celsius, the season's average, as against 13.6 degrees on Tuesday.
