Delhi: Ghazipur slaughterhouse to face green axe
Delhi’s sole slaughterhouse in Ghazipur may not be allowed to operate for violating environmental norms. The National Green Tribunal recently noted that there wasn’t adequate supply of water at the abattoir and that it didn’t have permission to extract groundwater.
