Delhi: Another peak as power demand rockets to 6.7k MW
The relentless heat, coupled with humidity, resulted in power demand surging to yet another record level on Thursday. The city’s peak power demand not only clocked the season’s highest of 6,780 megawatt (MW), but also the highest ever for May.
