Delhi: Ageing DTC fleet more prone to overheating
A Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus that caught fire recently at Mahipalpur was not an isolated incident as heating up of buses is not unusual in summers in Delhi. A fleet that is well past its prime means frequent maintenance is needed to keep the more than a decade-old buses running.
