CET begins on smooth note; many find maths paper lengthy
Only 81% students appeared for the biology paper of Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) that kickstarted on Thursday morning, whereas maths saw 96% attendance later in the afternoon.Around 2.2 lakh students had registered for the exam. Milind Chippalakatti, national head, knowledge management, Deeksha, said the questions were memory and concept-based, and not assertion reasoning or statement-based. There were no out-of-syllabus questions and an average student can score about 30-35 marks out of 60 in biology.
