Cases of mobile theft on the rise in Navi Mumbai
There is a rise in mobile phone thefts at bus stops, especially at Vashi, Nerul, and Airoli areas. While police have urged citizens to be alert and safeguard their phones while getting into public transport buses, the victims have stated that they could not recover their stolen phones even after lodging FIRs. Several mobile phone gangs are reportedly at work in the city.
