BMTC now looking to buy, not lease, electric buses
After the hike in diesel prices, BMTC is now thinking of purchasing electric buses instead of continuing the current lease model. While the transport utility has already inducted 90 e-buses, it is in the process of adding another 300. Both are under gross cost contract (lease) model.
