BMC aims at 2L tonnes silt before rain at Rs 71cr cost
BMC on Monday said silt removal from drains as a part of its pre-monsoon work had begun and that it aimed at removing 2.5 lakh tonnes of silt. Contractors for been told to take photographs with real-time geo-tagging for silt removal and also transportation. Work is expected to wrap up by May 31.
