Bengaluru Urban district has 6,000 illegal layouts
With the fund-starved government looking for additional revenue streams, an administrative reforms panel has recommended that the state consider collecting double the stamps and registration fees for sale of sites in unauthorized layouts in Bengaluru, reports Sandeep Moudgal.
