Bengaluru: Fake ACB sleuths extort govt officials
In March, a computer operator with Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and his associates, who posed as Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths, were arrested on charges of extorting Rs 10 lakh from three engineers by threatening to register false cases against them.
