BBMP identifies 2L illegal buildings, numbers may go up
There are nearly 2 lakh buildings which are either unauthorised or have deviated from sanctioned plans in the city, according to the latest data provided by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) as part of its ongoing survey on illegal buildings.
